Nate Scripture is a creative and innovative producer with 19 years of television experience working on some of the industry’s best nonfiction programs.
He began his career at Discovery Channel and TLC, earning more than 200 TV credits ranging from specials like Chasing Giants: On the Trail of the Giant Squid, Anatomy of a Shark Bite, Iceman, and Blue Planet to Extreme Machines, Beyond Human Senses, and Phobias.
In 2005 Nate moved to Australia to work with filmmakers Rob Stewart and David Hannan on various projects, including the feature film Sharkwater. Eventually, Nate joined National Geographic TV to produce and direct a variety of programs including: Hunter & Hunted, Uncover History, and Great Migrations. He also directed the pilot episode of Monster Fish with Zeb Hogan, which is now one of the network’s longest-running series.
Over the years, Nate has worked as a freelance producer, director, and talent wrangler while covering the subjects of crime, travel, adventure, reality, science, and nature. He has produced programs for Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, the Travel Channel, the Smithsonian Channel, Lifetime, the National Geographic Channel, and many others. Currently, Nate oversees production for Earth Touch at the Washington, D.C., branch.
